“To photograph is to hold one’s breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It’s at that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy.” - Henri Cartier-Bresson
Hello! Thanks for visiting my photography page!
I've always had a passion for photography from a very young age. My first camera was a Kodak Instamatic 110 my dad bought for me and I would take that everywhere and shoot anything that moves. It didn't matter whether I had film in it or not!
That drive would eventually lead to my first film SLR, my Nikon FE-2 in high school. That lead to shooting for my high school's newspaper and taking over one of my parent's closet to make it into a dark room with imager!
It wasn't until 2009 that I would rekindle my passion for photography. Sure, I've had a digital camera here and there throughout the years and took ten of thousands of photos when my son was growing up but there wasn't a drive like today. I was fortunate enough to work for one of the major cosmetic companies in the Los Angeles area in their Finance department. I started travelling every February and September with their Pro makeup team to New York Fashion Week to document the backstage and runway shows for designers such as Betsey Johnson, Alice & Olivia, Lela Rose, Elie Tahari and others. I was blessed to be part of the action for 6 seasons in New York.
That passion since hasn't diminished since! Photography has become an integral part of my life. I enjoy meeting others that share that passion to create something awesome! Please take a look at my portfolio and I would love to have the opportunity to work with you in the near future!
